An Arizona grand jury has indicted Lori Vallow Daybell for the second time, this time for charges related to conspiracy to murder her niece’s ex-husband. In the past, Daybell was arrested in Arizona on charges of plotting the murder of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow. Her brother, Alex Cox, fatally shot Charles on July 11, 2019. Daybell was found guilty of plotting the murder of her two youngest children and the ex-wife of her fifth husband last week.

According to Arizona law, indictments are typically sealed until after a defendant has been served with the document. Until Daybell’s sentence in Idaho later this year, she cannot be extradited to Arizona. Her current spouse, number five, is on trial alongside Daybell for the same offenses.
In Daybell’s Idaho trial, juror Saul Hernandez testified that the panel spent two days to reach a verdict because they weren’t sure they had enough evidence to convict him. However, after reviewing the evidence on the second day, he agreed with the guilty verdict. Hernandez shared that he was “disgusted” by the wedding photos presented by the prosecutors that showed Daybell and her fifth husband, Chad Daybell, dancing on a beach in Hawaii.
As Hernandez saw more evidence and heard additional testimony, he found it increasingly difficult to look at Daybell without seeing a face of evil.
