Principal Adam Paulson referred to the assault as “the darkest day anyone can remember at Montgomery High” in a message to parents, students, and the school community.
Although the cause of the conflict is unknown, it appears that the three students knew each other and had previously fought.
The school district has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
