Police in Hong Kong have filed murder charges against three men and a woman in connection with the death of a model and influencer named Abby Choi. Choi’s ex-husband, father-in-law, and brother-in-law are reportedly slated to appear in court for murder charges on Monday, while her former mother-in-law has been accused of perverting the course of justice.
On Sunday, police additionally arrested another woman believed to have been in an affair with the ex-husband’s father for allegedly helping the other suspects.
The case has been a source of mystery and speculation since Choi’s dismembered body parts were found in a refrigerator and a skull believed to be hers in a pot. Police believe Choi was attacked in a car and was unconscious when she arrived at the house.
