Attorney General Merrick Garland is focusing a lot of attention on Joe Biden’s residence in Wilmington, Delaware. In order to determine if Biden is keeping sensitive information in his Wilmington residence, the attorney has appointed a special counsel.
The Biden family has found refuge in their custom-built home ever since they moved there. In March 2020, however, the house soon changed into Biden’s de facto campaign headquarters. Powerful figures like Chuck Schumer and Joe Manchin were frequently invited for breakfast and a tour of the house.
The White House has been asked to provide a list of people who have visited Biden’s residence. It’s not apparent whether such a log even exists, though. Security at the house has come under scrutiny, as well as whether or if there is any secret stuff inside.
The spokeswoman for Biden has refrained from commenting on the probe by the special counsel. The White House has likewise refrained from commenting on the subject, claiming that the inquiry is still ongoing and that it will reserve any further comments until it is finished.
The Biden administration is currently dealing with a number of additional inquiries in addition to the one into Biden’s house.
