Podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan is becoming more critical of former President Donald Trump. Rogan has never been afraid to express his political opinions, and on last Thursday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” he attacked Trump with fellow comic Tom Segura. Rogan said that the former president was “on Adderall” in response to Segura’s remark that Trump was “full of f-king energy.” Segura also brought up allegations that Trump would “get bored at the CIA briefing in the mornings.”
According to Mediaite, Rogan claimed he “heard they would put his name in briefings multiple times to keep him interested.” Segura added that “his son-in-law said he came up with a formula to keep him engaged … the formula was ‘two good, one bad.’ So if they were going to give him some bad news, you’d start with some good news. So they go, ‘This is going well, everybody’s thrilled with you about this, here’s a bad thing. Also, people love you for this.’” Rogan then laughed and stated, “Of course, he’s a man baby,” to which Segura replied, “He’s a toddler.”
Rogan’s comments come just days after he said on another recent episode of his podcast that he had turned down an opportunity to interview Trump several times and had no plans to ever interview the former president. He explained, “I am not a Trump supporter, in any way, shape or form. I have had the opportunity to have him on my show, more than once, and I have said no every time.” He added that “I don’t want to help him, I’m not interested in helping him.” He also called Trump an “existential threat to democracy itself.”
Rogan has also been extremely critical of President Biden, calling him a “dead man” who is not physically or mentally stable enough to handle his responsibilities as president. He noted that he would support Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the 2024 presidential race. While DeSantis has not yet made an official announcement of his candidacy, he is a front-runner for the GOP nomination and prospective opponent for Trump.
